Sales Account Manager, Monaghan based covering the island of Ireland. €40,000 - €55,000 + benefits.

We are working with a long-standing and respected Irish food producer to recruit for their new Sales Account Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be driving growth in retail & foodservice markets across the island of Ireland. Office based approximately 2 days weekly and on the road 3 days. Duties will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing potential customers in target markets
  • Effectively managing time and client site visits
  • Managing key retail partner portfolios, maximising sales opportunities
  • Developing and implementing account plans
  • Working with marketing & product development teams
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing and terms
  • Sales forecasting, reporting and management updates
  • Attending trade events, shows, etc.

What we are looking for:

  • Business to business sales / account management experience within / into the food service, FMCG markets
  • Confident communication & negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Full clean driving license
