We are working with a long-standing and respected Irish food producer to recruit for their new Sales Account Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be driving growth in retail & foodservice markets across the island of Ireland. Office based approximately 2 days weekly and on the road 3 days. Duties will include:
- Identifying and pursuing potential customers in target markets
- Effectively managing time and client site visits
- Managing key retail partner portfolios, maximising sales opportunities
- Developing and implementing account plans
- Working with marketing & product development teams
- Negotiating contracts, pricing and terms
- Sales forecasting, reporting and management updates
- Attending trade events, shows, etc.
What we are looking for:
- Business to business sales / account management experience within / into the food service, FMCG markets
- Confident communication & negotiation skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Full clean driving license
