BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be working alongside a Bangor based Accountancy practice, to recruit for their new position as an Experienced Accounts Technician! Offering a strong starting salary dependant on experience and the chance to assist with their growing professional development, this is a great opportunity for any qualified accountancy professionals.
Joining as part of their established finance team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting a small bookkeeping & VAT team
- Preparing VAT returns for a portfolio of clients
- Processing bookkeeping records where required
- Reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping prepared by team members
- Ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely submission of all work
- Identifying and implementing efficiencies and improved processes within the department
- Supporting the wider team with bookkeeping and VAT queries
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients
What we are looking for:
- Experienced in VAT and bookkeeping within a practice environment
- Confident managing and developing a team
- Previously qualified - ATI or equivalent
- Proactive, with a focus on improving systems and efficiencies
- A strong communicator, both internally and with clients
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing workloads
