Production Planner

With over 20 years of expertise in their field I am working with a leading manufacturer in their field who are seeking for a Production Planner to join their highly successful team on a permanent full-time basis
Duties
- Create and maintain production schedules to ensure alignment with customer demand, proactively identifying potential supply risks
- Create and maintain reports on supply performance, inventory levels and planning/purchasing activities – communicating issues to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain and update planning and purchasing information
- Communicate production schedules and changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders
- Place and manage POs for stock, consumables and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders
- Support the management to identify and implement improvements throughout the planning, purchasing and inventory management processes
- Follow company systems and procedures for stock control and management
- Any other duties

- Proficient with MS office
