An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead a busy production operation of approximately 3540 team members. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving productivity, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a production team of 3540 employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Plan, coordinate, and optimise production schedules to achieve operational targets.
  • Monitor daily output and implement improvements to maximise efficiency.
  • Maintain high-quality standards through effective quality control processes.
  • Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality requirements prior to despatch.
  • Support, motivate, and develop team members to achieve individual and business objectives.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Production Supervisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Experience within hydraulic hose assembly manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential.
