Omagh / Site-Based Across NI & ROI Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits Full-Time - Permanent Black Fox Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor to recruit a SHEQ Advisor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional to work across a variety of major infrastructure projects including Civil Engineering, Rail and Renewable Energy developments throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The Role Reporting into the SHEQ team, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining high standards of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality compliance across multiple project sites.
Responsibilities Ensure SHEQ policies, procedures and standards are effectively implemented and maintained.
Carry out site audits, inspections and investigations, producing reports and corrective actions where required.
Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring preventative measures are implemented.
Deliver site inductions for employees, contractors and visitors.
Coordinate SHEQ training and awareness initiatives.
Maintain SHEQ documentation and records.
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems.
Support project teams in achieving compliance with relevant legislation and company standards.
What You'll Need Minimum 2 years' experience within a Health & Safety, SHEQ or HSEQ role.
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
Experience conducting site inspections and audits.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office packages.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel and stay away as projects require throughout NI and ROI.
Experience within Civil Engineering, Rail or Renewable Energy projects would be highly advantageous.
