We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting financial management activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to optimise business performance. Duties
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with precision and timeliness.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other financial management tools to maintain accurate financial data.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning to optimise organisational resources.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members on accounting procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Assist in internal audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department by streamlining processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
