Nurse Manager Salary: £51,000 per annum Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 9am5pm Omagh, Co. Tyrone An established specialist care service in Omagh is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager to take responsibility for the clinical leadership and day-to-day management of its nursing and care provision. The service provides specialist support to adults with learning disabilities, with a strong emphasis on promoting independence, dignity, wellbeing and individualised care. This role would suit a qualified nurse who is ready to take on a senior leadership position, combining clinical governance, staff management and operational oversight within a supportive care environment. You will be a visible and approachable leader, working alongside nursing and care teams to maintain high standards, promote best practice and ensure the people living within the service receive safe, respectful and consistently high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include: Taking overall responsibility for the clinical leadership of the nursing and care teams Providing day-to-day direction, guidance and support to staff Monitoring care standards and ensuring individuals receive safe and person-centred support Overseeing clinical practices and ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are followed Supporting compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory standards and professional requirements Managing staffing levels, resources and operational requirements effectively Coaching and developing nurses and care staff to help them reach their potential Contributing to recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and other external agencies Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and consistency of care Promoting a workplace culture built around respect, inclusion, teamwork and dignity Supporting the continued development of services for adults with learning disabilities Essential Criteria We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: Current registration as an RGN, RMN or RNLD A valid NMC PIN At least 5 years' post-registration nursing experience Strong clinical knowledge and an understanding of care quality and regulatory requirements Excellent communication and organisational abilities Confidence in leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams A professional and compassionate approach to leadership A genuine commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement Previous experience in a nursing management or senior leadership position would be beneficial.
