I am delighted to be recruiting for a lovely private care facility, found in Dunmurry! This nursing registered home is divided into different units and is focused on dementia care. This facility rarely recruits for new nurses due to their long-term staff and low turnover. With a near-perfect RQIA rating and zero complex care requirements, this facility is highly reviewed locally and by those with family members receiving care onsite.
For this role, you will need:
- An active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- An unrestricted nursing pin
- Prior nursing experience

- Motivating patients to help restore and improve their health and self-esteem
- Providing medication to patients and providing pre- and post-operation care
- Providing psychological and physical support to parents, family members and friends
- Identifying patient care requirements
- Assuring the quality of care to patients through adhering to therapeutic standards
- Ensuring that patients and fellow employees adhere to infection control policies and protocols, medicine storage and administration procedures and substance control regulations
- Evaluating patients who complain of specific ailments
- Examining and authenticating vaccination records
