To ensure that Rich Sauces sites and RS Direct depots achieve best practice in protecting the health and safety of all persons affected by its undertakings; exceeds all safety and environmental legislative requirements and continuously improves the sustainability of these aspects of the organisation. Formulate, develop and facilitate the implementation of health, safety & environmental policies, promoting a culture of positive awareness and understanding to employees, contractors and visitors, ensuring alignment with Solina goals.
Responsibilities
- Together with the on-site LLT and Solina HSE management, set realistic short and long-term health, safety, and environment objectives; deciding priorities, establishing adequate systems and performance standards and support all areas of the business to provide "reasonably practical" solutions to health and safety issues.
- Manage & support the implementation and subsequent monitoring of Solina policies and strategies, establishing and maintaining procedures, (including review and auditing) to ensure LLT/ Solina have visibility of the effectiveness of delivery of the HSE strategy.
- Establish and maintain effective procedures for reporting, investigating, recording, reviewing and analysing accidents and incidents to enable continuous improvement of RS H,S&E performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of weekly and monthly KPIs including supporting relevant department heads to complete their monthly dashboard updates on Share Point.
- Support the Solina NUKI HSE team in establishing and achieving their objectives and targets including updating Solinsafe.
- Manage RS Health & Safety and Environmental management systems including maintenance and development of ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications.

- NEBOSH
- Working knowledge of and experience of HSE auditing practice in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in MS Office
- Have the courage to address issues and take a stand when necessary
