The Opportunity

In this Trainee Accounts Technician position, you'll become an integral part of the finance team, helping ensure daily operations run efficiently while maintaining accurate and compliant financial processes.

Key Duties

  • Handling client funds and ensuring timely settlement of payments, including compensation and related costs.
  • Keeping client account records up to date and ensuring balances are accurate.
  • Raising and processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing outgoing payments.
  • Carrying out daily banking tasks, including monitoring and allocating BACS transactions.
  • Supporting various reconciliations, including client accounts, office accounts, and company credit cards.
  • Recording expected disbursements and balancing petty cash.
  • Assisting with VAT submissions when required.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and, where appropriate, supporting colleagues with guidance or training.
