We are currently recruiting for a Construction Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a wide range of construction plant and equipment, both on-site and in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plant machinery
- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Work on a variety of equipment including construction plant, access equipment, and vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain accurate service records
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Plant Fitter / Service Engineer (required)
- Experience with construction equipment, asphalt pavers, access equipment, commercial vehicles, or agricultural machinery is desirable
- Previous dealership experience is an advantage but not essential
- Full driving licence preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
- Good level of English required
