We are working with a leading supplier of machinery & solutions into the food production & process industry to appoint their new Field Service Engineer with 2 roles, one covering NI and one covering ROI customers.
You will receive training on the companies' products and duties within the role will include:
- Travel to customer facilities within your region to carry out installations, commissioning, servicing, and breakdown support on machinery and systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, including training on equipment operation and maintenance best practice.
- Maintain accurate service records, including detailed reports on work completed, parts used, and customer feedback.
- Act as the face of the business, building and developing strong relationships with customers.
What we are looking for:
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with experience across PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.
- Previous maintenance or field service experience, ideally gained within a machinery, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, to support customer requirements when needed.
- A full, clean driving licence is required.
