Black Fox are delighted to be working with a successful Newry based manufacturing company to recruit for their permanent Management Accountant, offering a generous package and a negotiable salary depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Own cost accounting, including raw materials, labour, and overheads.
  • Lead month-end stock takes, reconciliations, and valuations.
  • Analyse performance, investigating discrepancies between standard and actual costs to identify waste reduction and profitability opportunities.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to enhance reporting and provide clear actionable financial data to non-finance managers.

Strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis. Likely qualified or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Hold a current full driving license which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car.
