Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Metal Roofer to join our roofing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of metal roofing systems and possess strong knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights, requiring good physical fitness and attention to safety. Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and replace metal roofing systems including standing seam, corrugated, and metal shingle roofs Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing of all roofing seams and joints Safely operate equipment such as ladders, scaffolds, and lifts Inspect roofing systems for damage or defects and provide repair solutions Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Maintain clean and organised work sites Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures Collaborate with other crew members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met Requirements: Proven experience as a metal roofer or in a similar roofing role Strong knowledge of metal roofing materials and installation methods Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, and manual labour Valid drivers license and reliable transportation OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with soldering, welding, or metal fabrication Knowledge of local building codes and regulations Skills: strong knowledge of roofing materials tools techniques along with the ability to read blueprints work safely at heights41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
