An expanding engineering business is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join its growing team. This is a key role within the organisation, ideal for an individual with proven hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering and a strong understanding of Crushing and Screening equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead quality control initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process bottlenecks.
- Manage and maintain manufacturing equipment and develop maintenance strategies.
- Analyse production costs and implement waste reduction measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to support new product introduction.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation and production reports.
- Provide training to production staff and mentor junior engineers.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer (essential).
- Knowledge and experience with Crushing and Screening equipment (advantageous).
- Proficiency in manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and SolidWorks or similar software.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
