We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients growing finance team in Derry/Londonderry. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance within a dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Analyse financial performance and provide insightful commentary to senior management
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings
- Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Develop and improve financial reporting systems and processes
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and support
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in a management accounting or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent Excel and financial systems knowledge
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
