With over 50 years of experience, I am working with a leading transport company who, due to continued success, are seeking a Transport Planner to join their successful team on a permanent full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Plan customers' collections and deliveries in the most cost effective/efficient manner
- Maximise vehicle utilisation
- Plan routes to meet customer KPI and maintain driver’s hours legislation
- Issue drivers with clear instructions
- Ensure all drivers brief and de-brief completed daily
- Maintain TMS
- Monitor vehicle movements
- Manage customer queries and issues
- Other ad-hoc duties
Qualifications:
- Experience of working within a similar role
- Good geographical knowledge of UK & Ireland
