Role:
- Manage the daily procurement of goods, materials, components, and services to support operational requirements.
- Ensure continuity of supply by coordinating supplier call-off orders and proactively managing long lead-time items.
- Monitor and control consumable inventory levels, conducting weekly reviews to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
- Enforce purchase requisition procedures, ensuring all requests are accurate, properly approved, and processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain adherence to consumable spend budgets, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Produce regular reports on supplier performance, cost savings, and stock availability to support decision-making.
- Stay informed on market conditions, including inflation, pricing trends, and supply chain developments.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to effectively support business operations.
Requirements & Experience:
