We are working with a leading civil and utilities contractor to recruit for their new Health & Safety Advisor to support projects across the Dublin area. Reporting into management and working within a well-structured health & safety team you will:
- Plan and deliver health & safety training to employees
- Implement company health, safety & environmental policy & procedures
- Conduct safety inspections and audits
- Support and assist with health & safety KPIs
- Monitor and enforce the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System
- Identify site-specific hazards and ensure they are addressed in the site documentation and in a practical manner on the site
What we are looking for:
- Health & Safety experience gained within civils, utilities or similar in Ireland or the UK
- Full clean driving license
- 3rd level qualification in health & safety is desirable
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
- Ability to manage risk and implement control measures
- Able to work and build strong relationships with contractors from various backgrounds and trades
