Key Responsibilities

  • Audit current supplier spend, relationships and risk exposure
  • Develop supplier segmentation, approved supplier lists and procurement controls
  • Negotiate subcontractor, labour-only and supplier agreements
  • Manage buying frameworks, group pricing and discount structures
  • Oversee depot purchasing across multiple sites, ensuring pricing consistency and stock efficiency
  • Supplier onboarding, compliance and performance management alongside SHEQ
  • Produce board-level reporting on spend, supplier performance and savings opportunities
  • Manage tenders and bids with commercially robust supply chain solutions

Essential Experience

  • Strong background in procurement, buying or commercial management within construction, FM, M&E or building services
  • Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers across multiple trades
  • Knowledge of CIS, IR35 and construction supply chain compliance
  • Experience negotiating subcontract and supplier agreements
  • Proven ability to deliver savings and improve supplier performance
  • Comfortable building processes and driving change within a growing organisation
