We are working with a specialist design and manufacturer of products for the construction industry to recruit for their new Technical Engineer who will work on a variety of projects.
Key duties include:
- Providing technical support and engineering solutions
- Preparing accurate technical quotations for customers
- Completing load assessments, structural calculations, and lintel calculations for building control approval
- Recommending standard and bespoke lintel solutions for specific construction projects
- Customer support by phone/email, occasional site or office visits, and preparing technical reports
What we are looking for:
- Degree educated, ideally within a construction/design related discipline
- Some experience (placement, intern or postgraduate) in a design role
- Confident IT skills
- Sound communication skills
