A leading company in the automated storage and material-handling sector is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing electrical systems for advanced automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). Key Responsibilities Design electrical control systems for AS/RS, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. Select components such as motors, drives, sensors, and PLC hardware. Program PLCs/HMIs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff) and implement motion/drive systems. Conduct testing, installation support, and on-site commissioning. Ensure designs meet IEC, UL, NFPA 79, and CE standards. Produce technical documentation, BOMs, and support training activities. Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering. Strong electrical design and control systems knowledge. PLC programming experience required. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar. Familiarity with industrial comms (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus). Experience with conveyors, robotics, or automated machinery preferred. 35+ years in automation or material handling is ideal.
