A well-established accountancy practice in Dungannon is seeking a proactive and experienced Management Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key financial reporting and support strategic decision-making across a diverse client base.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager/Partner, you will play a pivotal role in preparing management accounts, analysing financial performance, and providing insightful reporting to clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for clients
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Cash flow monitoring and reporting
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Liaising with clients regarding financial queries
- Assisting with VAT, payroll, and other regulatory submissions as required
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to process improvements
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards full qualification
- Proven experience in management accounting within an accountancy practice
- Strong experience with accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
