Electrical Contracts Manager We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects from inception through to completion.
You will be responsible for managing project programmes, budgets, labour, subcontractors, and client relationships, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Manage multiple electrical projects from tender stage to final account.
Coordinate electricians, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and progress.
Conduct site visits and ensure health & safety compliance.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Manage procurement, variations, and project documentation.
Ensure all works comply with BS7671, NICEIC standards, and company procedures.
Criteria Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years' experience within electrical contracting.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
ECS/CSCS Card (Supervisory/Managerial level preferred).
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification desirable.
Skills Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Commercially aware with strong cost control experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
