Are you an experienced health and social care professional looking to progress your management career? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Supported Living Manager to lead a well-established service in Downpatrick, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care and support.

The Role

As Supported Living Manager, you will provide strong leadership and operational oversight, ensuring the service remains compliant, well-managed, and focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for the people we support. Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, support staff development, and maintain the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the supported living service alongside the Deputy Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
  • Oversee safer recruitment practices, including pre-employment checks and registrations
  • Maintain effective staffing levels and skill mix to meet the needs of those using the service
  • Promote a culture of high-quality, person-centred support and positive outcomes
  • Provide leadership, coaching, supervision, and performance management for staff
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold best practice standards
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environment

About You

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a Deputy Manager or similar leadership role within a care or supported living setting
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within health and social care
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about delivering person-centred support and improving lives
