We are working with a successful engineering firm based in Craigavon to appoint their new permanent Press Brake Operator. Days based, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and 1.30pm Friday finishes.
Working within a supportive team, you will:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery
- Read engineering drawings, work instructions and bending schedules
- Check components against specifications and tolerances
- Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate bends and finishes
- Complete quality checks and production records
- Report machinery, material or component issues to the supervisor
- Meet required quality standards and production timescales
What we are looking for:
- Experience with using a 2x4 tandem Durma press brake for folding sheet metal
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and written instructions
- Experience working in a Fabrication Factory
