We are currently recruiting for a Construction Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to join our growing team.

The Role

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a wide range of construction plant and equipment, both on-site and in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plant machinery
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Work on a variety of equipment including construction plant, access equipment, and vehicles
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain accurate service records

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Plant Fitter / Service Engineer (required)
  • Experience with construction equipment, asphalt pavers, access equipment, commercial vehicles, or agricultural machinery is desirable
  • Previous dealership experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Full driving licence preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Good level of English required
