This is a key leadership role with a clear pathway to progress into a Managing Director position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving operational excellence, improving profitability, and supporting the long-term strategic growth of the business. This role combines hands-on operational management with senior leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple departments.
- Ensure operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor operational costs, margins, and overall business profitability.

Essential Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, or significant equivalent leadership experience.
- Extensive senior management experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Demonstrable experience achieving operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, including AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
- Extensive experience using and developing ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
