We are seeking a Food Technical Compliance Specialist within a growing technical team to support product specifications, packaging artwork approval, internal auditing, and new product introduction.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, approve, and maintain finished product specifications in line with customer and legal requirements.
- Generate ingredient declarations and ensure specification accuracy and compliance.
- Manage specification updates and maintain customer portal systems.
- Support packaging artwork approval and produce legal packaging copy.
- Handle customer technical queries and support audits.
- Conduct internal audits and close non-conformances.
- Support NPD trials, handovers, and first production with complete technical documentation.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to support timelines and process changes.
Essential Criteria
- Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or related discipline.
- 1+ year experience with retailer specification online systems is essential.
- Knowledge of Food Safety and GMP.
- Strong Excel and Word skills.
