Procurement of subcontract work packages and materials, ensuring they are available on time, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements. The role contributes to maximising project profitability through effective purchasing, supplier management, and commercial awareness.
Role:
- Procurement of subcontract work packages and construction materials.
- Work collaboratively with the procurement team to deliver purchasing objectives across multiple projects.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining purchasing procedures and best practices.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate with the supply chain to achieve the best value while maintaining quality, programme, and commercial objectives.
- Monitor procurement budgets and costs, providing accurate reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Liaise effectively with Senior Management, Finance, Quantity Surveying, and Site Management teams to ensure clear communication throughout the procurement process.
- Ensure subcontract orders and supplier appointments comply with project requirements, including specifications, terms and conditions, guarantees, collateral warranties, insurance requirements, and other contractual obligations.
