Develop relationships with architects, contractors, developers, landscapers and private clients.
Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through quotation, negotiation, contract award and completion.
Identify profitable sales, repeat business, variations and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Generate new business and manage the sales pipeline.
Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals.
Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
Manage client relationships and provide product guidance.
Work with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors to support project delivery.
Monitor project costs, margins, programmes and commercial performance.
Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events.
Report on sales activity, pipeline and revenue to senior management.
Key Requirements Sales/business development experience within construction, building materials, stone, landscaping or a related sector.
Proven ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
Experience with pricing, quotations, tenders and contracts.
Excellent relationship-building and organisational skills.
Knowledge of natural stone or construction products advantageous. xehkeey
