Commercial Freight Executive
Co. Antrim – Belfast
Salary – up to £45,000 – benefits include – car allowance, healthcare, bonuses + others
Due to continued growth, there is now a fantastic opportunity to join a leading freight company who are seeking for a Commercial Freight Executive to join their team on a permanent basis
Reporting to the Senior Management Team you will…
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Generate leads and cold calls with prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand customer needs and propose suitable freight solutions.
- Work with the Sales Manager and other, along with the operations/customer service teams to ensure a premier customer service experience.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of activity and information using CRM systems.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
- Negotiate rates and contracts in line with company pricing structures and margin expectations.
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows where appropriate.
- Other adhoc duties
About you
- +5 years in freight forwarding (preferably ocean freight (FCL/LCL).
- Competent in the Microsoft Office Suite & CRM Software.
