We are delighted to be partnering with a successful Northern Ireland engineering firm to recruit a new Business Development Executive. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a well-established business and play a key role in driving growth across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Ireland. With a focus on both developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships, this role will be based near Coleraine with regular travel to customers across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
  • Build, maintain and grow strong relationships with existing customers to maximise long-term value.
  • Plan and carry out customer visits in line with agreed sales objectives and targets.
  • Represent the business at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events.
  • Gather and analyse market data and customer insights to support the wider sales strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity and customer records.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support business growth and deliver excellent customer service.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous sales or business development experience, ideally within engineering, manufacturing or a related sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
  • A good standard of IT literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting.
  • A willingness and ability to travel across Northern Ireland and the UK as required.
  • A full, valid driving licence.
