What you'll do:
- Program aerospace components offline using CAM software.
- Develop machining strategies for aluminium, titanium, and other materials.
- Select efficient tooling packages and verify NC code with Vericut.
- Create process booklets, work instructions, and design fixtures.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize methods and reduce costs.
- Support sales and marketing with manufacturing concepts and quotations.
- Maintain accurate ERP data and liaise with tooling suppliers and external subcontractors.
You're a fit if you have:
- A STEM qualification and experience with CAM software (Mastercam or similar).
- 5 years of experience with CNC programming.
- Knowledge of CNC machining strategies and processes.
- Experience with hard metals and multiple NC languages (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain) is a plus.
