We are recruiting for a Pre-Construction Manager / Programmer to join a growing fit-out contractor. You will lead the pre-construction phase of projects, managing programming, design coordination, and tender support to ensure successful project delivery from the outset.
Key Duties
- Lead pre-construction activities across multiple projects
- Develop and manage project programmes (MS Project / ASTA)
- Coordinate design, technical, and stakeholder teams
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Support tendering, procurement, and bid submissions
- Advise on critical path, sequencing, and resource planning
- Present programmes and strategies to clients and consultants
- Collaborate with commercial teams on cost and scope alignment
Requirements
- HND/HNC/Degree in Construction Management (or similar)
- Proven experience in pre-construction / planning within fit-out
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and methodologies
- Experience developing and managing project programmes
- Commercial awareness across D&B and traditional contracts
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Project (ASTA desirable)
- Willingness to travel as required
