An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and customer-focused Tyre Technician to join a busy and growing team.
This role involves providing mobile tyre fitting and basic vehicle maintenance services for cars and commercial vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.
Working Hours 5-day working week.
One weekday off on a rotating basis.
On-call rota includes: One night shift per week.
One full weekend on call each month.
Additional payment for every completed call-out, on top of your salary.
Key Responsibilities Inspect, remove, repair and replace tyres on cars and commercial vehicles.
Repair punctures and ensure correct tyre pressures.
Carry out wheel balancing, wheel alignment and tracking adjustments.
Perform basic vehicle servicing, including filter changes, lubrication and road safety checks.
Replace basic automotive components, including brakes and exhaust systems.
Discuss required work and costs with customers before commencing repairs.
Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services where appropriate.
Maintain stock levels and assist with stock ordering.
Complete basic administrative and data entry tasks.
Load and unload tyres, tools and equipment.
Deliver exceptional customer service and provide advice on tyre care and maintenance.
Maintain company vehicles, equipment and work areas to a high standard.
Follow company procedures, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Attend training and contribute positively to team meetings.
What We're Looking For Previous experience as a tyre technician or in a similar automotive role.
Knowledge of tyre fitting, puncture repairs, wheel balancing and alignment.
Experience carrying out basic vehicle servicing and repairs is desirable.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Physically capable of lifting tyres and equipment.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
