Freight Operations Admin Belfast Salary Open to discussion

This role is a maternity cover with the hope of being made permanent afterwards.

We are working with a successful Freight business who are seeking a Freight Operations Admin to join their highly successful team. This is an interesting role where you will assist in covering the Operations Manager's duties, covering freight operations and all associated administration within the role. Beyond this year and with a developed understanding of the business, its services and customers, the role will then develop into a freight sales / business development role, working closely with the management team and developing commercial opportunities.

What we are looking for:

  • Freight operations / freight administration experience
  • Sound level of IT literacy

Duties:

  • Raise job files, maintain records, and manage paperwork
  • Validate high-volume freight invoices, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies with carriers
  • Act as a contact point for clients, providing tracking updates
  • Schedule, book, and support with routing and monitoring
  • Other adhoc duties
