Black Fox Solutions are working alongside our client, based in Belfast, to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. As the successful Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our machinery and ensuring operational excellence. This position offers an excellent chance to enhance your technical skills within a dynamic international organisation.
Main Duties:
- Report to and adhere to instructions from Engineering Manager, Mechanical Team Leader and Senior Maintenance Technicians.
- Through good housekeeping procedures ensure that a safe and clean working environment is kept at all times.
- Ensure that the Health & Safety Policy of the company is operated to ensure compliance with statutory regulations as they change from time to time.
- Managing mechanical repairs and breakdowns whilst avoiding downtime and ensuring minimal disruption.
- Fault finding and continuous improvement site wide focusing on critical plant and addressing the root cause of failures.
- Initiating and modifying mechanical designs; conducting diagnoses, repairing and testing of malfunctioning equipment.
