This is your opportunity to join a leading FMCG company who are a genuine investor in their staff who are seeking for a Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join their highly successful team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:

  • Overall accountability of the H&S of the team and working area
  • Responsible for ensuring the Distribution operation is compliant
  • Record & Oversee WTD & Tacho infringements
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance and drive risk-mitigation actions
  • Manage inventory levels and implement controls to avoid shortages or overstock daily reporting
  • Lead the site supply chain strategy
  • Oversee forecasting, materials planning and production scheduling to ensure OTIF performance
  • Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse operations
  • Responsible for managing the Warehouse / Third party haulage
  • Ensure the supply chain is adequately staffed, trained, briefed, monitored
  • Manage supply chain absence and discipline
  • Complete relevant risk assessments and Safe system of work
  • Responsible for ensuring the Distribution team maintain servicing of vehicles across the fleet
  • Review of driver hours and planning efficiencies
  • Other adhoc duties

About you:

  • Experience of working within a similar role
  • CPC qualified or willingness to work towards it
  • Proficient with MS Office
