This is your opportunity to join a leading FMCG company who are a genuine investor in their staff who are seeking for a Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join their highly successful team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:
- Overall accountability of the H&S of the team and working area.
- Responsible for ensuring the Distribution operation is compliant.
- Record & Oversee WTD & Tacho infringements.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance and drive risk-mitigation actions.
- Manage inventory levels and implement controls to avoid shortages or overstock daily reporting.
- Lead the site supply chain strategy.
- Oversee forecasting, materials planning and production scheduling to ensure OTIF performance.
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse operations.
- Responsible for managing the Warehouse / Third party haulage.
- Ensure the supply chain is adequately staffed, trained, briefed, monitored.
- Manage supply chain absence and discipline.
- Complete relevant risk assessments and Safe system of work.
- Responsible for ensuring the Distribution team maintain servicing of vehicles across the fleet.
- Review of driver hours and planning efficiencies.
- Other adhoc duties.
About you:
- Experience of working within a similar role.
- CPC qualified or willingness to work towards it.
- Proficient with MS Office.
