We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a permanent role with a leading organisation in Belfast. Working on a rotating days/lates shift pattern, you will inspect, service, maintain and repair HGVs, trailers and related equipment.
Key duties include:
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs to company and VOSA standards
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and diagnostic faults
- Maintaining vehicle electrical systems, tail lifts and related equipment
- Completing welding and fabrication where required
- Working safely to minimise downtime and meet shift KPIs
What we are looking for:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or 4 in LGV/HGV Maintenance, or equivalent
- Previous HGV or heavy vehicle maintenance experience
- Strong diagnostic, electrical and fault-finding skills
- Experience with tail lifts, welding and fabrication
- Full clean driving licence
Desirable:
- C+E licence
- IRTEC qualification or HGV fleet maintenance experience
