A leading manufacturing company in Belfast is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their well-established Engineering Department. You will work alongside a skilled team of engineers and technicians to keep production equipment running smoothly, drive reliability improvements, and support continuous growth within a modern manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure optimum performance.
- Ensure equipment operates effectively to meet production and customer requirements.
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to plan and execute repairs.
- Manage electrical spares inventory and control replacement part costs.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, including Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Hygiene standards.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Experience in plumbing, gas, air conditioning, and heating systems.
- Strong systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years experience in an engineering role within an FMCG environment (Desirable).
