CNC Machinist Programmer £18.00 per hour - 4-day working week - Friday overtime at 1.5x We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business for an experienced CNC Machinist Programmer to join their engineering team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC professional with strong 3 and 5-axis machining, Heidenhain controls and Mastercam or Hypermill experience. The Role You will be responsible for: Setting and operating 3 and 5-axis CNC machines. Complete machine setup, including tooling, workholding, alignment and datum setting. Loading, proving out and modifying CNC programs. Creating and troubleshooting NC programs using Mastercam and/or Hypermill. Diagnosing machining and programming issues and making appropriate adjustments. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment. Supporting operators and apprentices with technical guidance and troubleshooting. Assisting with training and continuous improvement activities.
