To join a leading manufacturer with a rich heritage in NI as their new Supply Chain Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director and as part of the SMT you will lead and develop their end-to-end supply chain, focusing on:
- Driving efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement
- Management of the existing purchasing team
- Hands on day-to-day negotiations with a global supply chain in a fast-moving and fluid environment
- The effective management of a Global Supply Chain
- Reporting on key KPIs including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and cost-to-serve
- Leading weekly planning meetings and providing insights to senior management
- Management of stores within the company’s manufacturing facility to drive operational efficiency
- Other adhoc duties
What we are looking for:
- + 4 years relevant experience including the development & implementation of procurement strategies, supply contracts, ideally gained within a manufacturing or related industry
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory control, planning, logistics etc.
- Excellent communication, people & negotiation skills
- Experience of using ERP/MRP system
