I am delighted to be working with a leading logistics company with over 55 years expertise in their field. Due to growth within the business, I am seeking a Freight Forwarding Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
About you:
- Previous experience of working within a Freight Forwarding role
- Proficient with MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Duties:
- Communicate and work with sea freight partners
- Handle enquiries by phone, email and face to face with customers and suppliers
- See shipments through from start to finish
- Deal with documentation
- Arrange FCL export/import shipments with various carriers to worldwide destinations
- Arrange collections with our selected Transport/Liner Shipping Companies
- Handle export of goods
- Make bookings on CRM system
- Communicate with stakeholders ensuring that they are aware of the status of their goods
- Other adhoc duties
