Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and early years education
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities
- Promote children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Support children’s individual needs, including those with additional needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
- Observe, record, and contribute to children’s development and progress
- Work effectively as part of a nursery/pre‑school team and communicate with colleagues and parents
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are upheld at all times
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting (desirable)
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
