The Black Equity Organisation is a national civil rights charity working to dismantle systemic racism and build equity for Black communities in the UK. Our economic empowerment and financial inclusion programmes support Black entrepreneurs, families and communities to build long-term stability and opportunity.

About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Programme Lead to deliver BEO programmes focused on tackling financial inequality and enterprise programmes. The role focuses on delivery, partnership co-ordination and ensuring that community insights shape the programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day delivery of the financial inclusion and F100 Growth Fund programmes
  • Manage partners, mentors, trainers and delivery organisations across multiple UK regions.
  • Oversee onboarding and support for entrepreneurs, business advisors and participants.
  • Coordinate programme timelines, budgets, risks, KPIs and workplans.
  • Support focus groups, community insights and evaluation alongside the Research team.
  • Manage Steering Group meetings and maintain strong relationships with corporate and community partners.
  • Contribute to programme communications, case studies and promotional activity.
  • Provide clear progress reports to funders, partners and BEO’s Senior Leadership Team.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience delivering enterprise, accelerator, financial inclusion or community programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with partners, funders and volunteers.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines and delivery schedules.
  • Experience supporting Black or underrepresented communities.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills (workshops, sessions, community events).
  • Good financial literacy and experience managing budgets or programme costs.
  • Comfortable using digital tools, CRMs or project management systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience with accelerator programmes or entrepreneurial ecosystems.
  • Understanding of social enterprise, sustainability or supplier diversity.
  • Experience working with corporate partners or senior stakeholders.
