As a Software Development Manager, you will lead and manage a team of software engineers, ensuring successful delivery of high‑quality software solutions. You will be responsible for driving team performance, fostering collaboration, and aligning development efforts with business objectives. This role requires a balance of technical understanding and strong leadership skills to guide teams through complex projects while maintaining a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a talented software development team to deliver high‑quality products on time and within scope.
- Provide people management, technical leadership, and project oversight to ensure team success and timely delivery of high‑quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and architecture team to define product vision and roadmap.
- Drive execution of projects, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Manage resource allocation, performance reviews, and career development for team members.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Key Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in managing distributed teams and working in a remote environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and modern development practices.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience in software architecture, systems design, including scalable architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience in delivering large enterprise applications using microservices architecture, and container orchestration technologies, running on Kubernetes and/or cloud technologies (AWS or GCP).
- Experience with development and working with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
- Experience in integrating AI capabilities into software systems, including prompt engineering, API integration, and leveraging LLM‑based services for automation and productivity.
