This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of transport across the Black Country. Black Country Transport brings together Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton councils to deliver strategic, cross‑boundary transport schemes that improve everyday lives across the region.
As we grow our team and ambition, we’re looking for an experienced Head of Strategic Transport to provide senior leadership across transport strategy, policy, active travel, innovation and major programme delivery. You will lead on strategic transport policy, funding bids and major infrastructure projects, work closely with directors, elected members and partners, and help deliver inclusive, sustainable transport outcomes across the region.
